Medium-full bodied for a pinot, aromatic, fresh nose of tart cherries and raspberries with a touch of oak ,
Rich liquorice, savoury palate with a hint of vanilla.
Interestingly structured with a lingering velvety finish, nice price point.

Typical new world style of pinot noir Review by Chris

medium plus bottle giving this bottle very strong and concentrated taste of cherry and jam. A bit oaky. Tanning a bit rough but acceptable. I like Burgundy style of pinot noir with structure so this is not something I would go for. (Posted on 13/05/2015)
Vavasour Pinot Noir 2012 Review by Brian

-Aroma of cherry, red berry, oak... and cherry again.
-Light ruby colour, crystal clear, medium+ body.
-Gentel and firm tannin, not too much integration with fruit. Enjoyable now but seems it will be better after a few years.
-Fruity at the beginning but oaky after half an hour aeration. It is better after 2 hours opening.
-To be more eleglant 2 hours aeration.
-Very good price-ratio. (Posted on 29/03/2014)

I'm keen on New World pinot noirs and this is an excellent example as well as being extremely good value.

Great with a chicken and no doubt with duck.

A great Pinot Noir at great price ! Review by Lo

Usually good Pinot Noir costs a lot. This one beats many Pinot Noirs that cost much more. Try it and you will not be regreted. I will definitely be ordering more. (Posted on 02/08/2012)

Well balanced wine, it's actually improved a fair but in the last 3 months since I first tried it. Smells like crushed cherries amongst a flower garden. (Posted on 29/09/2011)

I'm very fond of aromatic Pinot Noir, it could use some age. Though, very nice all the same. (Posted on 07/09/2011)
