Made by the talented duo of David Clouston and Sanna Stander from hand picked and hand sorted fruit cropped modestly from immaculately tended vines nestled in the foothills of the Ward Valley in the far South West of Marlborough. The cooler climate and elevated free draining clays soils are perfect for growing Pinot Noir with strong varietal character and excellent sweet/savoury balance.Hand picked and sorted this wine has good colour with very strong pinot noir aromatic characters. It has very lifted cherry aromas and violet notes with perhaps a touch of liquorice and darker cedar. This is a silky start on the palate delivers plenty of raspberry flavours with a textural finish delivering ample character of the region.
