A beautiful deep red colour. Very fresh on the nose, developing aromas of black cherry with warm, toasty notes. Merlot is the dominant grape here, blended to perfection with Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec to give a powerful, well-structured wine. Excellent length on the finish.Perfect for a light buffet supper, or with fine charcuterie, grilled meat, chicken, roast veal, red meats and mature cheeses.

A budget Bordeaux, but due to an exceptional vintage, it is good enough to be a respectable table wine. Decent concentration, may very well improve with 2-3 years additional aging. Dark fruit, good oak and tobacco, in a generous package. 88 points. December 2018 (Posted on 18/12/2018)Rating
