Cissac is among the most celebrated addresses in the appellation of Haut-Médoc.

The 2015 Cissac has a well-defined bouquet with lifted blackberry and undergrowth notes. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, quite edgy in style with crisp tannins and vivid black, cedar-infused fruit toward the finish. Enjoy this Cissac over the next decade. Tasted September 2017. Oct 2017,

- Score: 90-/100 Neal Martin -

A favourite amongst customers and staff, Château Cissac delivers great sophistication at an everyday drinking level. From the flashy 2015 vintage, this red is packed full of dark ripe fruit, backed up by plenty of spice and wood smoke.

The tannins are firm but ripe, which makes it drinkable now but means it will also mature well if left in the cellar for a few years.

There are better wines for $160 Review by Edmund
Not good at all. Non-existent nose and very watery on the palate. (Posted on 22/09/2014)
2009 Review by Runner
A classic Bordeaux 2009 for under $300. Why so cheap? (Thanks)! (Posted on 12/07/2014)
Good Value for Money Review by Terence
Wine Rack sells the Chateau Cissac 2009 at surprisingly low price. This Medoc Cru Bourgeois is suitable to drink now. Vintage 2009 is the best among all so far. Even the vintage 2005 is not as good as this one. Worth 90 points. (Posted on 03/01/2014)
