Mooncake Pairing: Perfect with Assorted Mooncakes - Chinese Ham Mooncake with nut: The flavour profile of this Chianti pairs very well with the savoury and meaty flavours of the Chinese Ham and nut Mooncakes.


Made entirely with Sangiovese, this opens with aromas of wet leaves, underbrush, leather and prune. The palate offers dried red and black cherry, grilled sage and a confectionary note alongside lithe tannins.

A wine that is still a little discreet on the nose, but once aerated, delivers aromas of ripe red fruits on a background of charred wood. The mouth reveals itself to be ample, rich and concentrated, and upheld by silky tannins. Best enjoyed after a few years of ageing in cellar.

Domaine Gayda Figure Libre Freestyle is ruby red with some purple highlights. Vibrant, expressive nose of red and black fruits, pepper, spice and “garrigue”. A full bodied wine, with an expansive mouthfeel, integrated tannins and a long, silky finish.

Grapes: Carignan, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Shiraz

Aged for 14 months in used French oak barrels a intense, powerful Pinot Noir with great complexity and structure. Fine aroma of wonderful ripe sour cherry, tea leaf and a hint of mocha.

It has a freshness, smooth balanced acidity and silky tannins making it a versatile wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes, including salmon, roasted chicken, and mushroom risotto.
