Shipping & Delivery
We will make delivery per the following schedule after receiving the payment receipt for your order.
Orders received after 4:30pm will not be processed for 24hrs.

Delivery Schedule:
Hong Kong Island - Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Kowloon - Tuesday and Friday
Sai Kung & Clearwater Bay - Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
New Territories - Every Wednesday
Discovery Bay - Every Wednesday
South Lantau - Friday (via Ferry Delivery Service)
Lamma Island - Friday (via Ferry Delivery Service)

Our driver will be in touch before delivery to make sure you're available.

Delivery Charges
Delivery is FREE on orders of 12 bottles of wine or more.
A delivery charge will apply for orders of less than 12 bottles of wine as follows:

$35 on 6-11 bottles of wine .
$70 on less than 6 bottles of wine.

Examples:
If you order 11 bottles of wine and 6 bottles of beer or cider there will be a delivery charge
If you order 12 bottles of beer or cider there will be a delivery charge
.

Public Holidays
We do not offer delivery on public holidays.
Under special circumstances we may offer special deliveries, please contact us before placing your order.

Delivery Address
We only deliver to one address per order. If you wish us to deliver to more than that one address please place a separate order for each location.
Alternatively, please contact us to make special delivery arrangements before placing your order.

Due to customs restrictions we can only offer delivery in Hong Kong.



Returns & Replacements
Quality - If you buy any of our wines and you don't like a bottle, we will credit your account for that bottle. If you have bought a whole case of one particular wine, then we will refund the whole case,  provided that you have only drunk one bottle from the case.
Stolen Wine - If you give instructions for us to leave your wine outside your house and the wine gets stolen, we’ll replace it free of charge, providing you notify us and the police within 3 days.
Breakages – In the event that any of the bottles in your case are broken or the labels are damaged, please let us know within 7 days and we’ll credit the money into your account with 30 days.

Payment & Security
We use PayPal for all payment processing services and it is they who provide the secure credit card handling facilities on their site. No credit card details are asked for, accessed or retained by Winerack or any affiliated or associated company. It is your responsibility to protect your password from being disclosed to any third party.

FAQ - What if I do not have a PayPal account?

A PayPal account is NOT required! - You can use a credit card in the normal way.
If you do not have a paypal account then when you arrive on the PayPal payment page you can ignore the login box and instead click on the link that is shown on the left of the page (see example image below)

 

Bank Transfers

You may also choose to pay by bank transfer upon checkout but we will not ship your order until the funds are received into our account.

If you have an HSBC account, bank transfers are usually very quick (often immediate during business hours) but if you use another bank it can take three days or more before we receive the money. Please allow sufficient time for clearance.* If your order is urgent we recommend you use PayPal or a credit card as a bank transfer payment may be delayed.

*Cross checking funds received via bank transfer takes time so please help us emailing us the bank transfer details including and include the order number and the amount paid. If no advice is sent to us your order may be delayed. Any payment advice received after 4:00pm cannot be not be processed for 24hrs.

 

Can I pay COD?

Yes, in some cases but there is a $20 handing charge for COD orders
When you check out choose 'Bank Transfer' and in the special instructions mention you would like to pay COD.
Please add and additional $20 to the total charge shown in your email order confirm.

COD service is not available to all areas and we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule delivery of any COD order without notification.
If in doubt we suggest you contact us to arrange a COD before placing an order.

Wine Rack Privacy Promise
We take your privacy very seriously and will not pass your details to any third party, except our delivery company.

Ordering
All prices are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars, and may be per bottle or per case, as marked. The prices exclude any tax and duty.
We accept payment by PayPal, Visa and MasterCard.

Age restriction
We won't sell wine to anyone who isn't 18 years old or over. Sorry, but that's the law. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

Limitation of liability

We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by us or our employees or agents in circumstances where:
a. loss or damage was not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was formed;
b. loss or damage relates to business and/or non-consumers.

Subject to Returns & Replacements we will not be liable for loss or damage caused by the customer handling the wine. In particular we will not be liable for spillages or breakages.

Under no circumstance whatsoever shall Winerack Limited or any affiliates, directors, officers or employees (together, the “Company”) be liable for special or consequential damages including loss of business, and in no event shall any liability of the Company exceed the purchase price of any product purchased.

We reserve the right to cancel any order without notification. If there is an issue or problem with your order we will normally contact you to try to resolve it.

While we aim to be accurate, any availability information or delivery estimates on the website or the order confirmation in relation to products or services are approximate. As we process your order, we will inform you if any products or services turns out to be unavailable.

Customers should also be aware of the following inherent risks and warnings:
Alcohol should be consumed in moderation.

A case of wine is heavy so extra care should be taken when lifting it. If you are concerned about the weight we advise that you transfer the bottles 1 or 2 at a time.
