Details

Puligny-Montrachet is devoted mainly to producing white wines. The vineyard includes 200 hectares in white of which 91 is
in 1er cru, for a production of 10630 hl including 4885 hl in1er cru.
It lies on brown limestone soils with marly clay-limestone deposits, which are thick in height and with finer grains in bottom of slope.
The grapes selected for this Cuvée come from the medium of the slope and are bought from wine growers with whom we maintain a long date partnership.

TASTING :
Color : intense and luminous golden yellow.
Nose : fine nose evolving on woody and flowery notes, dried fruits like almonds or hazel nuts.
Palate : balanced attack, rich and fleshy with a beautiful typicity, pleasant length.
Ageing : 5 to 7 years.
Drinking temperature : 12°C
Food pairing : poultry in creamed sauce, grilled or cooked fish.

VINIFICATION :
The wine is vinified according to the Burgundian traditional method. After devatting the wine is matured in oak barrels (50% of new barrels and 50% of one to three year old barrels) during 12 to 15 months.
